About the Speakers

Moderator:

Jana Scholten

Founder & CEO of Mindful Mondays & Marketing Consultant

Jana Scholten is the Founder of Mindful Mondays and is a marketing partnership manager. She has successfully used mindfulness techniques to overcome a serious health challenge, as well as become a successful endurance athlete. She is the author of a soon-to-be released book about her journey overcoming her obstacles and maintaining robust health, healing and mastery. A Boston-based marketing consultant at Collaborative Consortium Jana also enjoys yoga, endurance running and adventure-obstacle-course races.

Julie Helmes

Director of Development, NamastaySober

Julie Helmes is a nonprofit management professional, experienced event planner and certified yoga teacher. Her discovery of the whole-body benefits of yoga began after years of playing high-intensity high school sports. Yoga became a mental and physical escape where she found new space to build balance in her life. Through years of her own personal practice she developed the desire to help others find their own healing through yoga. Julie was introduced to NamaStay Sober and felt that her nonprofit experience and passion for yoga and healthy communities were all perfectly connected. She is now a board member and feels that NamaStay Sober is more than an organization with a mission, it is a movement with a transformation. Julie is a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified instructor. She completed her training with Marianne Wells Yoga School in Costa Rica.

Dhanashree Ramachandran

A certified Art of Living instructor. Dhanashree developed her interest in meditation, yoga and chanting at a very young age, and has taught yoga, meditation and Kriya to hundreds of adults and children in India and the US. She has also been instrumental in raising awareness of meditation practices among groups at prestigious institutions like the World Bank, MIT, the Executive Department of Families and Health, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the Massachusetts State House. An ardent reader, Dhanashree has a special interest in philosophy, art and yogic literature, and is the Founder and CEO of Nous Lab- a video games design studio that is committed to developing positive content for gamers of all ages.

Julie Grimm

Founder of OhmBaby

Julie is passionate about empowering people to bring further joy and energy into their lives. Her background in Neurobiology, art and meditation gives her a unique insight into the creative genius within each individual, and how to help unlock its potential. Julie offers creative consulting to businesses and individuals.
